| You've got ligtdm on Debian? Make sure you have rebooted at least once since installing lightdm. |
| Try this command: |
| sudo vi /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf |
| Using vi text editor find the following lines: |
| hint: type forward slash (/) in vi followed by the thing you are searching for '#autologin'. |
| #autologin-user= #autologin-user-timeout=0 |
| For help learning vi text editor follow this link. |
| Using vi text editor remove the two '#'s above and add your user name after 'autologin-user=' |
